UX/UI Designer Intern on the
Cuisinart Innovation Team , you'll explore how people cook, share, and experience food-and translate those insights into intuitive, delightful, and trend-forward digital experiences.
We're looking for a
curious, positive, and design-obsessed thinker -someone who lives and breathes creativity, follows the latest social and design trends, and loves connecting great design with real-life moments around food and home.
What You'll Do: - Design for Experience: Help craft engaging and intuitive digital touchpoints for Cuisinart's connected appliances, apps, and brand experiences.
- Research Curiosity: Participate in user interviews, social media trend spotting, and usability testing to uncover consumer insights that inspire new ideas.
- Prototype & Play: Create wireframes, prototypes, and visuals using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch-and bring your ideas to life through storytelling and motion.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, culinary experts, and marketers to bring fresh digital concepts to market.
- Innovate & Inspire: Track emerging trends in design, social media, technology, and food culture-and share ideas that could shape next generation of Cuisinart experiences.
- Evolve Design Systems: Contribute to Cuisinart's evolving digital design system and help refine a consistent, beautiful, and functional design language.
Who You Are: - A rising senior or graduate student majoring in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD , or similar tools-with a portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful design and a passion for usability.
- Curious and optimistic , always exploring what's new in design, social platforms, and digital storytelling.
- A creative problem-solver who thrives on collaboration and believes that design can make everyday life-and cooking-better.
- Eager to contribute ideas, iterate fast, and learn from hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

To Qualify/Appl y: - You should be a current college student, entering your senior year in the fall of 2026.
- The internship program will run from June 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Interns will work Monday through Friday on a 37.5-hour work week schedule, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
- We require candidates to maintain excellent academic standing.
- Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, is a must.
- As part of our hybrid work model, interns are expected to be present in the office 4 days a week with Friday being a work from anywhere day. Please note that Conair does not provide housing for summer interns.
- Compensation for all internship positions is set at $25 per hour, and the internship is based out of our Stamford, CT corporate office location.

Environmental Factors: - Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
- We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 4 days a week with Friday being a work from anywhere day.
