Job Description

Position Title: Finishing Operator

Wage: $20.05/hour

Shift: 2nd, 3rd

Hours: 3:30pm-11pm, 11pm-7am

QPS is looking for Finishing Operators for a client in East Troy, WI. If you have a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as a team, we would like to talk with you!

Finishing Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate various pieces of equipment and perform a variety of duties to prepare material for storage or shipment
- Set up and operate finishing equipment including but not limited to straightener, saw, and furnace
- Use measuring equipment including micrometers and tape measures
- Perform pickle and passivate operations
- Evaluate and assist in solving problems associated with quality

Finishing Operator Requirements:
- Previous related experience preferred
- High school diploma or general education degree GED
- Able to use measuring equipment including micrometers and tape measures
- Able to demonstrate strong general mechanical skills
- Able to occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand and walk, use hands, and handle or feel objects, tools, or controls for up to 8 hours a day
