Job Description :

We are hiring an experienced Application Services Manager to work for us as our direct, W2 salaried or hourly employee. This role requires 50% travel , reimbursed at the Federal rate.

  • Supervise the activities of analysts and specialists for Provider Relations, Provider Support, Provider Enrollment and Credentialing.
  • New provider enrollment and credentialing, maintenance of existing providers, provide disenrollment and recertification, Provider relations, management of service functions using the MMIS, CRM, and other systems used to support operations.
  • Development of interface strategies in association with State partners.
  • Monitor production, timeliness, accuracy, and inventory for all areas of oversight; implement rapid risk mitigating actions and quickly escalate issues appropriately.
  • Maintain compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) related to provider services.
  • Contribute to identification, development and deployment of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate on staff training and development.
  • Ensure optimized service delivery to provider community by, among other methods, appropriate resolution of provider issues and concerns communication.
  • Manage activities in alignment with budget and operational forecasts and goals.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, policies and procedure for operational tasks.
  • Resolve operations escalations and ensure client referrals are appropriate
  • Monitor operational performance measures and work with leadership team to make necessary adjustments in assignment and/or workload to ensure compliance
  • Escalate system issues as appropriate
  • Ensure all operations performance metrics are accurately reflected in reporting and submitted timely
  • Participate in client facing meetings as appropriate
  • Coordinate with other operational leaders (Call Center Manager, Outreach and Education Manager) to ensure key issues impacting application process are communicated and addressed in external stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure lessons learned and external stakeholder feedback is incorporated in staff training and continued education activities

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience managing in a high-volume Enrollment, healthcare-related organization (two [2] of the four [4] years must include managing areas such as Provider or member Enrollment, Provider credentialing, and Provider or member screening)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in application services, provider operations, or healthcare program management
  • Proven team leadership and operational oversight in a regulated environment
  • Experience with systems such as MMIS and CRM tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time

Desired Skills and Experience :

  • Prior experience supporting Medicaid, Medicare, or government healthcare programs
  • Background in provider network operations or healthcare IT systems
  • Familiarity with SLA-driven environments
