Job Description

Position: Production Worker - Assembler.

Location: Manufacturing Plant, Scarborough, ON

Responsibilities:

• Handle small car parts and apply labels.
• Rotate small car parts as needed.
• Perform quality checks to ensure product standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Complete work orders and tasks in a timely manner.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, standing throughout the shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Lifting will be minimal, with a maximum of 10 lbs.
• Must be punctual with good attendance (poor attendance may lead to dismissal).
• Steel-toed safety shoes and blue pants are required.
• Able to speak English, Chinese speaking is an asset

• Compensation:
  • $18.56 per hour + shift premiums:
    • Afternoon Shift (Shift B): $0.25 premium per hour
    • Night Shift (Shift C): $0.50 premium per hour
• Shifts:
  • Shift B: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Shift length may vary between 6-7 hours depending on production)
  • Shift C: Monday to Friday, 12:00 AM – 7:00/8:00 AM (Training provided)
• Other Benefits:
  • 6-month evaluation period, with possible hire after completion.
  • Company uniforms are provided.
  • $2.00 bento boxes available for lunch orders.
  • 30-minute lunch break + two 10-minute breaks.
  • Overtime pay after 40 hours.
  • Holiday and vacation pay.
