The Associate Pharmacy Technician assists in the accurate and safe filling and dispensing of medications within a hospital pharmacy setting, ensuring prompt service to nursing units and ancillary departments. The role requires completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program, relevant licensure, and experience with IV admixture and aseptic techniques. Performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose, IV and chemotherapeutic medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt, safe and accurate manner. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Sisters of Providence Mission and Philosophy.
