Position: Carpenter/Cabinet Maker

Company Profile: Holly Hunt is known for a look that is consistently at the forefront of style and quality. The company designs, produces and showcases custom made furniture products.

Position Profile: Performs the assembly of furniture units from a kit of components previously prepared and tailored for fitting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assembly of products: Product completion per Production Schedule
• Meet all critical dimensions and product characteristics.
• Maintain work station clean, organized and safe.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.
• Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.
• Observe all company policies and standard practices.
• Participate on all required continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience of carpentry.
• Reading and understanding drawings, dimensions, views and tolerances.
• Proficient using equipment and hand tools such:
• Bench saw
• Miter saw/Radial saw
• Band saw
• Planer/Jointer
• Electrical tools: Router, screw driver, sander.
• Hand tools.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and flawless results.
• Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency
