Join Clean Harbors as a Class A CDL Truck Operator , where you will operate a range of heavy and light-duty trucks and equipment at various customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs. This role will involve driving and performing essential duties connected with hazardous waste clean-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safety practices and policies.
• Operate various commercial trucks while assisting field teams as needed.
• Responsible for loading and unloading trucks.
• Engage in manual labor on-site to meet customer needs effectively.
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to comply with Company and DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow all compliance regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
• Safely operate vehicles according to safety guidelines.
• Complete additional duties as assigned, including emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Handle hazardous materials as required by position.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Willingness to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of hire.
• Comfortable using various mobile devices for work.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as needed.
• Must successfully pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Adhere to OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard regarding facial hair standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior commercial driving experience.
• Experience with Hazmat and Tanker operations.
• Previous experience in manual labor and hazardous materials management.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
