Building Electronic Controls (BEC) is hiring a  Construction Administrative Assistant to support the Operations Department in the construction process.

You’ll be responsible for our headquarters administrative needs, assisting our Design Department, and responsible for gathering all project-related documents for a comprehensive closeout package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Main point of contact for Operator Line and assisting visitors
• Respond to emails and manage correspondence with customers and internal team
• Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, restocking supplies, and updating office equipment
• Download updated data sheets for product data submittals and CSFM listings
• Compile Product Data Submittals
• Upload drawings to Fieldwire
• Scan drawings
• Print drawings utilizing plotter
• As-built coordination, scanning, and UPS shipments
• Compile O&M manuals and prepare warranties

Who You Are

• Meticulous in compiling and handling organized and accurate project files
• Able to maintain clear communication with project managers, customers, and internal team members throughout the design and closeout processes
• Able to manage time efficiently, follow up on outstanding items, and meet deadlines
• Able to identify and resolve issues that arise during task and project execution
• To assist with tasks related to project coordination and tracking project progress

Qualifications

• 3 years of administrative experience
• Proficient working knowledge of construction processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and other relevant software (Bluebeam, Fieldwire, Computer Ease)
