Mountain Brook Dental Care is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Full -Time Dental Assistant to support our clinical team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

Mondays - Thursday 6:45am - 5:00pm
Hourly Rate: Commensurate with experience

Position Overview:

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience and supporting clinical efficiency. We're looking for someone who is proactive, professional, and ready to contribute to a high-performing team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Preferred 6 months - 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred (Externships not included)
• Proficient in chairside assisting and 4-handed dentistry
• Strong working knowledge of general dentistry procedures
• Familiarity with OSHA and HIPAA regulations and a strong commitment to patient safety
• Accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation per office protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure patient comfort and reduce anxiety
• Ability to anticipate the dentist's needs and contribute to efficient, quality-driven procedures
• Demonstrated ability to take diagnostic-quality x-rays efficiently
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
