We have an outstanding Contract position for aDocument Control Specialist to join a leading Company located in the Fort Worth, TX surrounding area.

Job Responsibilities:  

• Inventories of receiving and returning documents toverify all documents that coincide with the audit sheet.
• Categorizes records and stores them in alphabetical or numerical sequence or a combination of both.
• Troubleshoots and analyzes processes and procedures used to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Files and retrieves documents that allow for efficient storage and accessibility for a large number of records.
• Responsible for preparing, scanning, and quality checking of documents/images being converted to electronic/digital format.
• Determines appropriatescanner and scanner settings based on documenttype, planned processing anddocument characteristics.
• Responds to requests for items by locating and retrieving files and delivering the documented transaction.
• Maintains confidentiality and security of information.
• Performs other duties as requested.  

Basic Hiring Criteria

1. High school degree or equivalent. 
2. One (1) year of experience working in a business environment is required.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Good organizational skills.
2. Basic knowledge of office machinery suchas a copierand scanner.
3. Knowledge of in-house scanning system products, policies, and procedures preferred.
4. Good communication and people skills.
5. Knowledge of alphabetical and numerical filing systems.
