We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Document Processing Clerk to support the intake and processing of medical claims, financial and property documentation and forms in a high-volume environment. This critical role involves handling and moving large quantities of incoming and outgoing mail in bulk, ensuring all items are properly routed for processing.
Receive, sort and categorize all incoming mail from US post office daily (early morning and afternoon). Ensure that all documents are legible and scanned properly. Sort and prepare mail for internal distribution and scanning. Ensure all mail items are handled securely and confidentially, adhering to HIPAA and company compliance policies. Maintain accurate records of mail received and processed. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily processing goals. Adhere to strict timelines and maintain high productivity during peak mail seasons. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mailroom area.

Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods. Flexible to work up to 12-hour shifts based on volume and workload. Must pass: Criminal background check Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Prior mailroom, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred but not required.
