Pay Rate: $28.00 hourly on W2

Job Description

• A bachelor's degree in biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Candidates should have one to five years of experience in environmental sampling and compliance.
• The Level 1 Environmental Specialist assists with environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, and sustainability initiatives.
• This role involves collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance with environmental regulations, minimize environmental impacts, and support sustainable practices.
• Basic knowledge of environmental regulations, project management skills, and the capacity to collaborate on environmental matters within the organization are necessary.
• Qualifications include familiarity with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and permitting processes; experience operating power boats and watercraft; ability to work as part of a team on multiple projects; capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; effective communication abilities; and attention to detail.
