Roebuck Staffing is hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to support mining and industrial operations in Aurora, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently in an industrial or mining environment.

Responsibilities
• Operate excavators to move earth, rock, and other materials as directed
• Load trucks, hoppers, or designated areas with materials
• Perform trenching, grading, backfilling, and site preparation
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all site-specific safety policies and procedures
• Work in close proximity to other equipment and personnel
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and ground crew
• Perform minor equipment maintenance as needed

Requirements
• 2+ years of excavator operating experience preferred
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of excavation safety practices
• Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and wet conditions
• Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Reliable transportation required
• Must pass drug screen and background check

Preferred (Not Required)
• Experience in mining or industrial environments
• MSHA certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience with other heavy equipment (dozer, loader, skid steer)
