The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to key senior members of the US Corporate Banking Team in New York. This individual will possess excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact directly with Senior Executives and high-level clients. Responsibilities include organizing the Managing Directors using independent judgment, discretion and diplomacy, coordinating and prioritizing daily activities, projecting a professional image to visitors and personnel, greeting visitors, answering department calls, coordinating schedules, meetings, conference calls, managing heavy travel schedules and reservations, participating in department event planning, managing equipment and office supplies, maintaining tracking of expenses and invoices, composing routine correspondence, liaising with assistants from multiple teams, assisting with ad hoc projects, providing daily technology support and maintenance of office equipment, investigating system/software problems, tracking and managing inventory of hardware and software, working with external vendors and suppliers, acting as a resource to department users, and maintaining current knowledge of hardware, software applications and policies. The role requires compliance with all applicable CIBC and Line of Business policies, standards, guidelines and controls. Candidates should have a minimum of 5+ years of administrative experience in a corporate environment, good interpersonal and customer relationship management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced financial services company, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivation, strong technical skills, good judgment, ability to manage multiple priorities, and ability to work in a team environment. The candidate should embrace change, be digitally savvy, driven by collective success, and able to inspire outcomes through relationships and networks.
