BONNEY WATSON is looking for a variable schedule funeral support team member to join our team! *This is a variable schedule position with no guaranteed hours each week, scheduled is based on a at-need basis.
Summary:
Provides assistance to the Funeral Director in planning, placing floral arrangements and greeting and guiding guests to the funeral home and cemetery before, during and after services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
· Assists the Funeral Director with arranging flowers before and after funeral services.
· Assists guests as needed including acting as Reception Host, Parking Attendant, and other duties as assigned for services. Verifies and posts details of business transactions.
· Assists with leading families up to the gravesite locations by either meeting family in lobby and then leading up by car or by waiting for the procession to arrive from an outside location and then leading cars up to the gravesites.

Education/Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Math Ability
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions.
Computer Skills
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are required as well as understanding of a CRM system.
Certificates and Licenses:
Must have a valid WA State driver's license and clean driving record.

The employee will be exposed to outside weather condition on a regular basis. Noise level is moderate. The employee in this position may work day time and/or evening hours. Professional dress is required (black or navy blue suit or blazer with dark slacks, white shirt w/tie, dark socks, and black shoes).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time. The employee must constantly reach with hands and fingers. Regular keyboard typing is required. Must be able to lift and carry items or equipment up to 75 lbs.
