Job Summary:
In collaboration with the Healthcare Staffing Team, recruit and place appropriately skilled and credentialed individuals on assignments in a variety of healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day staffing functions.
- Manage day-to-day recruiting and credentialing functions.
- Manage day-to-day recruiting functions which includes answering phones, texts, emails, etc.
- Assist in any additional Express Healthcare Staffing administrative functions as needed to ensure a smooth and productive work environment.
Duties:
- Answer telephone calls, respond to text messages, and reply to emails.
- Document requests and staffing availability of active clinicians.
- Run staffing and revenue reports and distribute information daily.
- Manage clinical staff to ensure placements on all open job orders/available assignments.
- Review on-call logs to ensure data is documented in applicant tracking system.
- Provide on-call support after hours and during emergency situations, as needed.
- Create and execute an effective recruitment campaign through social media platforms, job boards, job fairs, and other avenues to recruit based on Recruiter Scorecard.
- Fill open positions for per diem, contract, temp-to-hire, or direct hire by understanding the staffing needs of clinicians and clients.
- Maintain involvement with community associations, schools, and networking at trade shows as needed to promote Express and develop a strong community presence for recruiting success.
- Process hiring documents, including facility-specific documentation in staffing software, ensuring the documents are maintained as current, and all clinicians are kept compliant with required documentation as needed.
- Work with a sense of urgency and prioritize tasks and hiring needs appropriately.
- Understand recruitment techniques, effective ways to recruit for and fill hard-to-find clinical opportunities.
- Run applicable credential reports and share information with Express Healthcare Staffing team weekly and daily as needed.
- Request and document updated credentials from all active staff.
- Ensure accuracy for all credentials of all staff.
- Maintain and update Express Healthcare Staffing hiring documents in 3rd party system.
- Manage expiring credentials proactively and ensure all staff have current credentials in all VMS systems as well as in applicant tracking system.
- Send out expiring credentials notifications proactively to all staff.
- Run monthly compliance reports.
- Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Display excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with clients and clinicians, and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Respectfully take direction from supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Require an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of six months experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of both.
- Require excellent verbal communication skills in English and the ability to build strong relationships through negotiation, persuasion, and composure under pressure.
- Require mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Require specialized computer skills using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and database management to write/create reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and procedural manuals.
Job Function Requirements:
- Able to perform essential job duties satisfactorily with or without accommodations.
- Able to adjust visual focus and use close vision accurately. Able to speak and hear.
- Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently.
- Require prolonged periods of sitting at a computer/keyboard using hands/fingers and occasional standing/walking.
- Must have reliable transportation.
