The Nevada Supreme Court’s Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is seeking a dedicated In-Person Education Administrator to lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of in-person educational programs for the judiciary and court staff. This position is essential in ensuring high-quality, accessible training experiences and in supporting the AOC's commitment to continuous learning and development. The In-Person Education Administrator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the in-person Learning and Administrative Management Systems for the AOC. This position entails ensuring the excellence and accessibility of all judiciary and court staff live training, spearheading the creation and updates of educational materials, and actively contributing to the development and implementation of educational resources.

This position is located in Carson City. After an initial training period, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid remote/in-office schedule.

Example of Duties

  • Oversee Learning and Administrative Management Systems as related to live training events.
  • Control the quality and accessibility of all judiciary and court staff in-person training.
  • Advance new and current seminar/conference creation, entry, and updates for all judiciary and court staff curricula.
  • Assist with the Advancement/Education Protocol for Court Staff.
  • Collect and analyze data
  • Conduct relevant and timely needs assessments of educational matters for the Judiciary and Court Staff.
  • Administer the event management system (ClearVantage)
  • Maintain integrity of training records.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of educational resources for AOC staff as needed
  • Collaborate to implement training and assist in curriculum design.
  • Recruit instructors and establish training timelines.
  • Identify Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for content development.
  • Assist in writing, development, and review of training materials for seminars and conferences.
  • Oversee educational content production, including of outlines/material and creation of files and slides.
  • Collaborate on the development and review of live training events.
  • Ensure timely publication of training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with State Bar CLE accreditation procedures.
  • Support the AOC Contract and Grants Officer in venue contract negotiations and review.
  • Support the In-Person Education Manager in establishing and maintaining vendor/venue point-of-contact relations.
  • Plan and facilitate event-related social activities, meals, deliveries, awards, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of adult education curriculum development and/or administration
  • Experience with learning development or organizational design
  • Curriculum creation experience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Mission-oriented teamwork ethic
  • Strong public speaking skills

Effectively works remotely and collaborates with employees from a remote location, as needed. Must have expertise in virtual meeting platforms, such as Teams. Must have the ability to work remotely via an internet network connection provided by the employee. This connection speed must be sufficient to perform all duties. A minimum of 50-100 mb download speeds are required. Higher connection speed may be required if sharing this connection with other members in an employee’s household.
