Sante Health System is looking for a full time IT Application Support Analyst in the Fresno, CA area to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting daily technology systems utilized by practice management clients. These include software, hardware, networking, and telecommunications.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of technical support experience working in a health care environment.
  • On the job experience may be substituted for degree.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this position, candidate should possess or be able to acquire following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of managed care practices preferred.
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g. javascript, vbscript, etc.)
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software and data communications including comparability and system configuration.
  • Knowledge of systems design, and problem identification.
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing processes
  • Skill in communication both verbal and written.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, vendors and external agencies.
  • Organizational skills required for project coordination
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Data analytics skills
  • Ability to apply the systems approach to solve problems.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, judgment and decision-making.
  • Ability to find, reference and understand industry standard modes of electronic communications (e.g. EDI, 835/837, HL7, etc.)
  • Ability to assist with evening and weekend tasks/projects as needed
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Assist with implementation, training and ongoing support of various practice management (PM) and electronic health record (EHR) systems: Intergy, EPIC, NextGen, and all other client applications needs.
  2. Provide prompt, courteous, and professional help desk support to all clients.
  3. Travel to remote client locations when necessary to resolve hardware or software problems.
  4. Develop, coordinate and execute projects plans
  5. Generate cost proposals based on customer IT needs
  6. Assist with acquisition and deployment of IT equipment
  7. Attend all IT Department meetings and provide updates in the day to day support and operations to the department.
  8. Assist with cross training of IT department new and existing staff as needed.
  9. Provide regular updates on all tickets/projects to direct supervisor/manager
  10. Assist with evening/weekend projects as needed.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
