Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our organization’s IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our technology systems to support ongoing operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of IT infrastructure to support business goals
  • Develop, review, and enforce IT policies, processes, and governance. 
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology strategies with business needs. 
  • Manage the IT budget, including capital investments, operating expenses, and staffing. 
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect the organization from internal and external threats. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand technology needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and IT policies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in cybersecurity. 
  • Establish, monitor, and respond to security events, including coordinating incident response efforts and ensuring continuous improvements. 
  • Lead the selection and deployment of security solutions such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems. 
  • Lead and manage the IT, providing mentorship, development opportunities, and performance evaluations. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, security awareness, and collaboration. 
  • Ensure that training programs are in place to maintain cybersecurity awareness for all employees. 
  • Oversee the daily operations of IT systems, including networks, servers, applications, and telecommunications.  
  • Ensure uptime, reliability, and scalability of IT infrastructure. 
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize disruptions. 
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of IT services and security products. 
  • Work with internal stakeholders across departments to support their technology and security needs. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a minimum of 10 years of experience in a IT management leadership role.
  • Experience with IT governance frameworks and cybersecurity frameworks. 
  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, including cloud solutions, enterprise networks, and databases.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management strategies. 
  • Expertise in modern security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption. 
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and overseeing operations across multiple facilities. 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management abilities. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage customer interactions, present findings, and lead training initiatives.
