Woolsey Morcom is seeking a dependable and motivated Personal Injury Legal Assistant to join our Ponte Vedra office. This role will provide support across our Personal Injury team, assisting multiple paralegals to ensure cases progress smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the legal field and gain hands-on experience in personal injury law.The PI Legal Assistant will provide general administrative and case support for the Personal Injury paralegals. You will assist with day-to-day tasks such as organizing case files, scheduling, communicating with clients, and helping track case progress. This position is designed to be an entry point into the legal profession, with opportunities to learn and grow within the firm.ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative and case support to Personal Injury paralegals.Assist with opening new files, collecting and organizing intake documents.Maintain and update case files, both physical and electronic.Request and track medical records, bills, and other supporting documents.Schedule meetings, depositions, and client appointments.Answer incoming phone calls and provide courteous client assistance.Help track deadlines and ensure documents are routed appropriately.Perform other general office and administrative tasks as assigned.QualificationsExperience: Prior office or administrative experience preferred; legal experience is a plus but not required.Education: High school diploma required; some college or paralegal coursework a plus.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); willingness to learn legal case management software.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Professional, dependable, and eager to learn.What We OfferCompetitive entry-level salary.Health, medical, and dental insurance benefits.Paid time off and holidays.A collaborative, team-oriented work environment.On-the-job training and professional development opportunities.
