ABM is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Technician III . This role is ideal for someone with strong HVAC and mechanical experience, leadership capabilities, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing HVAC and related equipment, while also coordinating day-to-day operations of assigned projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Pay: $38 - $42/ hr

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of technical knowledge and service activities.
\n
• Manage a high volume of service calls and job scheduling.
\n
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding job status and timelines.
\n
• Complete all required paperwork promptly and accurately.
\n
• Obtain customer signatures on service reports prior to beginning spot jobs.
\n
• Provide technical training and support to clients, customers, and team members.
\n
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
\n
• Lead smaller work groups when the Supervisor is present.
\n
• Report team performance issues to the Supervisor.
\n
• Train and mentor Tech IIs and IIIs, adapting to different learning styles and client expectations.
\n
• Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn how the client prefers tasks to be completed.

Basic Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
\n
• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver’s license.
\n
• High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent required.
\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role.
\n
• Possession of a 2C Boiler License .
\n
• Completion of 2A, 2B, and 2C license hours (minimum 1 year of hours).
\n
• 1C license requires 4,000 hours of experience.
\n
• Prior experience working in diverse teams and environments.
\n
• One (1) year of prior lead or supervisory experience.
\n
