US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Medical Assistant/Scribe to join our team at Cardiovascular Care in Wichita, KS. TheMedical Assistant/Scribe will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the medical office. Responsibilities Collect vital signs and document basic medical history Scribe for the Provider during Clinic Operation when necessary Receive and triage patient messages Update and scan medical records Distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Prep patient charts for next day clinics Prepare and clean treatment rooms Completing medication refill requests Travel to satellite clinics (Newton, Marion, Hesston, Valley Center, St. Theresa hospital) may be required, with mileage reimbursement Requirements Proven working experience as a medical assistant or certified nurse's assistant Experience as a Medical Scribe preferred but not required Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Experience with use of electronic medical records Experience with EKGs and placing monitors is preferred but not required About Wichita, KS Wichita, Kansas - a city that embodies the spirit of the Midwest.
