Growing medical group is seeking a Medical Scribe/Assistant who has interest and knowledge in musculoskeletal concerns and/or family medicine or is interested in learning about a new field of medicine. Candidates should be interested in working with patients of all ages.

Must have the ability to listen attentively and discern what information to add to the patient's chart, follow physician guidance, and verbalize needing support when something is unclear.

Candidates must also be willing to assist with administrative and clinical duties, such as but not limited to answering phones, making appointments, triaging calls, scanning, and obtaining prior authorizations.

Candidates should demonstrate the following skills:

• Strong and fast typing skills
• Highly organized with good time management skills
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Tech-savvy with great computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Great active-listening skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience collaborating and working as part of a team
• Self-starter who works well independently
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong people skills
• Great problem-solving ability
• Enjoys working as part of a team and lending a hand as needed

Requirements

• COVID 19 Vaccination - Must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination prior to hire date.
• Willing to properly wear a mask for the entirety of the work day.
• Demonstrated written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Athena experience is a plus.
• Education in a medically related field is a plus.
• Experience supporting other primary care physicians is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
