Medicare Member Engagement Representative Compensation

• The pay for this position is $18 per hour

• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Medicare Member Engagement Representative Highlights

• This position is on-site in Akron, OH (44305)

• This is a contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs

• The required availability for this position is full time, rotating schedule to meet outreach needs

Medicare Member Engagement Representative Responsibilities

• Complete Medicare Advantage plan changes over the phone using a compliance-approved script

• Document all calls and interactions in the call management system (Macess)

• Make outbound calls to members at risk of disenrollment and those new to the plan

• Support outreach programs aimed at increasing Medicare member retention

• Provide information on plan benefits to individuals or groups in person when needed

• Maintain working knowledge of Medicare Advantage plans and comply with CMS regulations

• Assist members with incomplete application info, answer Medicare questions, and provide education on plan benefits

• Maintain confidentiality of member health and business information

• Participate in departmental outreach events or meetings as assigned

Medicare Member Engagement Representative Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service or member retention

• Experience dealing with Medicare beneficiaries and/or understanding Medicare and health insurance compliance

• Valid driver’s license

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Must be able to quickly learn systems like MACESS, MARx, Amisys, and WiPro

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail and ability to draw valid conclusions from member data

• Flexible with work hours as needed by the business

• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Medicare Member Engagement Representative Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medicaid and MyCare Ohio programs

• Experience performing Medicare plan transitions or outreach for retention
