Title MH-60R Developmental Test Pilot Company and Location KBR is seeking an MH-60R Developmental Test Pilot to join our team in Patuxent River, Md. By joining KBR, you will be part of the world’s largest independent flight test organization supporting both US Government and Commercial Agencies. Our highly talented and experienced aircrew services team has provided over 40 years of continuous support at Patuxent River. The selected applicant will work within the NAVAIR test community, which includes government, military, contractor, and industry personnel, supporting flight test. Role and Responsibilities This position supports HX-21 Developmental Test and Evaluation at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), NAS Patuxent River, MD. The candidate must perform duties of an MH-60R developmental test pilot, project officer, and post-maintenance check pilot. Responsibilities include: Test planning meetings Test plan development Event planning Test procedure and card development Flight briefings Test execution Post-event support Test reporting Deficiency reporting Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field Graduate of a recognized test pilot school (e.g., US Naval Test Pilot School, Empire Test Pilot School, EPNER, etc.) Minimum 10 years of experience 2 years of rotary wing RDT&E flight experience (5 years preferred) Previous or current MH-60R/S aircraft qualification At least 1,500 hours in rotary wing aircraft; 1,000 hours in MH-60R/S preferred Ability to pass physical and training qualifications, including Navy water survival, aviation physiology training, and FAA Class II physical Willingness to travel extensively as required Security Clearance Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one Compensation $160,000 - $241,000, based on experience and internal parity Benefits KBR offers competitive benefits including 401K with match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending, disability, paid time off, and flexible work schedules.
