Great Hospitalist opportunity for team player with good communication skills.
Provides inpatient medical care, with the supervision but not necessarily the presence of a qualified physician member of the medical staff; e.g.: Patient history, physical examination, ordering and interpreting tests, making diagnoses and instituting treatment plans. Provides inpatient consultation on internal medicine conditions and may unction as a critical team member on the hospital code team. In conjunction with the supervising physician conducts admission evaluations and assessments and provides inpatient medical coverage for community physicians as necessary. May be required to take call.
