*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with a focus on providing comprehensive eye examinations and delivering exceptional optical services. This role requires proficiency in medical terminology, knowledge of anatomy, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose ocular conditions.
* Provide appropriate treatment plans and prescribe corrective lenses as needed.
* Educate patients on eye health, proper contact lens usage, and preventive care.
* Maintain accurate patient records using medical coding practices.
* Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Stay updated on advancements in optometry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and safety protocols within the practice.
* Assist with optical sales by recommending suitable eyewear options based on individual patient needs.

*Requirements*
* Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid state license to practice optometry.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to optometry and ophthalmology.
* Experience in pediatrics is a plus, as well as familiarity with optical products and services.
* Proficiency in medical coding practices and understanding of HIPAA regulations.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
* Aseptic technique knowledge is preferred for maintaining patient safety.

Pay: $122,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
