Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)

Shifts Available:
1st Shift: Monday–Friday 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Saturday 5:30 AM – 1:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday 5:30 PM – 3:30 AM, Saturday 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Summary
JobsRUs.com is hiring experienced Overhead Crane Operators to safely and efficiently operate overhead cranes in a steel manufacturing and warehouse environment. Operators will be responsible for moving heavy steel coils, plates, beams, and assemblies while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Operate overhead bridge and gantry cranes using pendant, cab, or remote controls.
Load/unload steel products from trucks, railcars, and production equipment.
Rig and secure loads using hooks, slings, and electromagnets.
Conduct daily inspections of cranes and rigging equipment.
Follow hand signals, written, and verbal instructions to move loads.
Ensure loads do not exceed crane capacity and are positioned accurately.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Report issues promptly to maintenance staff.
Attend all required safety meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications
Experience required: Previous experience as an overhead crane operator, preferably in steel or fabrication environments.
Ability to read instructions, follow safety procedures, and work with ground personnel.
Strong communication skills.

Physical Demands & Environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50–75 lbs.
Work performed in a loud, industrial environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and extreme temperatures.
Must wear PPE and adhere to OSHA and company safety standards.
