Packaging Designer

What you'll achieve

As a Packaging Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative packaging design solutions. You will work with Experience Design Group to deliver a balance of design excellence for Dell hardware products.

You Will:

• Deliver the design in planning, researching, concept design, layout, and execution of packaging projects, considering brand and design guidelines
\n
• Work across and understand the impact on technical teams and /or vendors, as well as cost delivery
\n
• Collaborate with team members in addition to Industrial Designers, Packaging Engineers, and others to understand design requirements
\n
• Assess the dynamics of problems and establish a strategy or methodology to solve them
\n
• Have the ability to design packaging structures with solutions to guide engineers and vendors to deliver high-quality mass production
\n
• Continually design with innovation and sustainability in mind.

Essential Requirements

\n
• 2 + years of experience in Packaging design development
\n
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required
\n
• Experience in image editing, rendering, visualization, and 2D drawing
\n
• Capable with office programs and presentations, and they should be able to create packing mockups
\n
• Proficiency in 3D rendering and computer-aided design (CAD) for structural design and presentation, as well as knowledge of packaging design, graphics, layout, materials, and production
\n

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience

\n

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $99,450 - $128,700.
