Overview Job Title: On Air Personality Department: Programming Reporting To: Brand Manager Employment Type: Part Time/ Fill In Location(s): Hartford Work Arrangement: In office Overview: Audacy Hartford/ WTIC is looking for fill in talk show hosts. Candidates must be able to keep listeners entertained and up-to-date with conversation on general topics/issues, politics, local and national news. We are looking for a host that can intelligently communicate their opinion, can relate to the audience, knows how to use humor and wants listeners to participate in the show via calls. The target audience is Men 25-54 who are educated, information seekers. Responsibilities What You'll Do: Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative. Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence Protect the station's FCC license Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly Operate the control board and perform production work Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts Other duties as required by management Qualifications Required & Preferred: Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills. Knowledge of the format and audience required.
