Job Description

We are looking for a health-minded personal chef to join our team and prepare meals for our clientele. Chef responsibilities include studying recipes, creating grocery lists, adjusting menus based on specific dietary needs, grocery shopping and in home meal preparation. Chef must have at least two years of prior experience working as a personal chef. This is the ideal position for chefs looking for a better quality of life. You determine your own schedule and work hours. Chef role begins as part time and increases to full time as you build your clientele. Responsibilities

• Study each recipe and create customized grocery lists
• Modify recipes to meet client dietary needs and preferences
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
• Cook food in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with clients on a weekly basis
• Maintain and update weekly schedule with clients and A Perfect Fit

Skills

• Proven work experience as a chef in scratch kitchen
• At least two years prior experience working as a personal or private chef
• Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques
• Excellent time management abilities
• Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
• Familiarity with sanitation regulations
• Must have knowledge of different diets (gluten free, dairy free, keto, medically prescribed diets, etc)
• Culinary school or Bachelor of Science in Nutrition required

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
