We're looking for an exceptional chef in the Los Angeles area!
We're a personal chef service platform that specializes in cooking customized health focused cuisine for weekly meal prep and small scale dinner parties for clients.
Desired Qualifications:
-A minimum of 3-5 years of professional chef experience and a culinary school degree or relevant training.
-Have a flexible schedule, but ideally available Sunday-Wednesday during the day.
-Reliable transportation to drive to various locations throughout the Los Angeles area.
-Knowledge & ability to cook for clients with dietary restrictions and allergies and/or specific diets such as Gluten-free, Dairy-free, low glycemic, Fodmap, etc.
-Feel comfortable working in various private homes and different kitchens on an ongoing basis.
-Able to work independently and be a self-starter.
-Be friendly and well-communicated as you'd be communicating directly with clients.
-In-home personal chef cooking experience is preferred but not necessarily required.
-Able to write menus that fit various client's dietary needs & requests with flexibility.
-Have access to a computer
Pay for this position is $40/hr
Flexible work schedule during the week (weekend event gigs are optional).
Please note: This is not a full-time personal chef position as the chefs cook for several different clients on an as-needed basis and is great for supplemental income . As a subcontractor hours are not guaranteed but there is potential for part-time work. Must be located in the Greater Los Angeles area.
