Position Summary
The QA Engineer will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure the quality of Medido Healths web and mobile applications. This role will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and verifying resolutions. The QA Engineer must understand how our systems work, test across different environments, and ensure features are safe for production, especially in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications
• Perform regression, smoke, integration, and acceptance testing
• Collaborate with developers during sprint cycles to test new features and provide early feedback
• Test APIs using tools like Postman
• Validate UI/UX behavior across different devices and screen sizes
• Log detailed, reproducible bugs in ClickUp or Jira
• Verify bug fixes and ensure no regressions before releases
• Participate in staging reviews and support production validation during deployment windows
• Work closely with DevOps to ensure quality gates are part of the CI/CD pipeline
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and internal security policies
• Maintain and improve QA documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Experience testing web and mobile applications (Android/iOS)
• Proficiency with manual testing techniques
• Familiarity with QA tools like Postman, ClickUp/Jira, or similar
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Detail-oriented with a passion for identifying edge cases
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in HIPAA or regulated environments
• Familiarity with API testing, load testing (e.g., JMeter), and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
• Experience with Ionic or Angular-based applications
• Familiarity with SQL for backend validation
• Knowledge of AWS environments
  

Work Location:

This position requires daily on-site attendance. Candidates must be able to work in person every day at one of the following office locations:
