Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing all quality and laboratory activities, ensuring that products meet specifications, resolving quality issues, and maintaining third-party certifications such as IATF 16949.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the facility’s quality goals, objectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as the Management Representative for the facility’s Quality Management System.
• Maintain compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Oversee the corrective action process and support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities.
• Develop plans to improve quality, reduce costs of poor quality, and maintain relevant documentation and metrics.
• Manage and mentor the quality team, providing ongoing training and development.
• Support customer quality audits and interactions, supplier management, and product launch processes.
• Ensure a safe and organized work environment, aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and related quality systems.
• Proficient with Core Tools (APQP, MSA, PPAP, SPC, FMEA).
• Skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to track budgets, manage metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
• ASQ Certification preferred.

Working Conditions:

• 40 hours per week; additional hours or weekends as needed.
• Mix of office and production floor presence required.
