Busy law firm on the border of Sussex and Morris County seeks a highly organized, full-time Real Estate Legal Assistant with 3+ years of law office experience focused on Real Estate. The ideal candidate will support our attorneys with preparing and reviewing contracts, closing documents, and title review.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Primary point of contact for handling client files from attorney review process through closing.
• Draft, review, and revise real estate contracts, closing documents, deeds, and related agreements.
• Complete UCC, tax, and lien searches as needed.
• Communicates with clients, title agencies, agents, and opposing parties in a professional manner.
• Managing a busy attorney calendar and the ability to coordinate with multiple parties.
• Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems.
• Willing to assist with other administrative tasks as assigned.

​Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Real Estate legal assistant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask and keep track of deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Experience with Caret Legal or other legal practice management software a plus.
