We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Remote Educational Diagnostician to provide comprehensive virtual evaluation and diagnostic services to K12 students across New Hampshire . This role involves conducting psychoeducational assessments, interpreting data, supporting special education eligibility determinations, and collaborating with school teams and families to develop individualized supports for student success.
This fully remote position allows you to work from home while delivering timely and accurate evaluations aligned with both federal and New Hampshire Department of Education (NHDOE) guidelines.
Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and functional assessments using virtual tools.
Conduct evaluations to determine eligibility for special education and related services in accordance with NHDOE rules and IDEA .
Prepare comprehensive, legally defensible written evaluation reports.
Ensure timely documentation that complies with state and federal evaluation timelines and standards.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, administrators, families, and related service providers.
Provide actionable recommendations to support instruction, intervention planning, accommodations, and goal development.
Guide teams in creating measurable and compliant IEPs based on student data.
Masters degree or higher in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, School Psychology, or a related field.
Valid New Hampshire educator license in one of the following areas:
Special Education
Educational Diagnostician
School Psychologist
Must be authorized to conduct academic and cognitive assessments under New Hampshire law .
Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting educational assessments and contributing to special education eligibility decisions.
Prior experience delivering remote assessments is preferred.
Comfortable using digital assessment tools (e.g., Pearson Q-Interactive , Q-Global , Riverside Insights ).
Proficient in special education documentation systems (e.g., SpedTrack , EasyIEP , EmbraceIEP ) and video conferencing tools like Zoom or Google Meet.
Excellent writing and communication skills
Strong time management and organization
Self-directed and dependable in a virtual work setting
Experience working with students who are multilingual or culturally diverse
Knowledge of New Hampshire Rules for the Education of Children with Disabilities
Membership in professional organizations (e.g., NASP, CEC, NHASP)
