Salesforce Business Analyst

Position- Contract - Lowell, Massachusetts-MA (Remote)



Required:

• 3–5 years Salesforce BA or functional consultant experience
• Experience gathering requirements, conducting workshops, documenting workflows

Ability to build:

• SOPs
• Process maps (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro)
• User stories
• Acceptance criteria
• Understanding of Salesforce objects: Leads, Contacts, Opportunities, Cases
• Experience coordinating with technical teams (developers, architects)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to support change management, training, and adoption
• Analytical mindset with ability to diagnose data/process gaps

Preferred Skills

• 5–7+ years BA experience, ideally in CRM or higher-ed
• Salesforce certifications:
• Salesforce Business Analyst
• Admin (ADM-201)
• Advanced Admin (ADM-211)"
• Experience in education CRM environments (TargetX, Slate, EDA)
• Experience defining KPIs and reporting requirements
• Experience working with Marketing Cloud or MC Connect
• Ability to build business cases and roadmap proposals
• Experience with RFP-level documentation and client presentations

Specific Skills:

• Requirements analysis
• Process mapping (Visio/Lucidchart/Miro)
• SOP development
• Acceptance criteria creation
• Salesforce object model understanding
• Change management & training support
• Data quality & workflow analysis
