We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join our Supply Chain & Procurement team in Morgantown, WV. In this role, you will oversee the daily purchasing operations, ensuring accurate order processing, vendor management, and inventory control. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented purchasing professional with strong problem-solving skills and manufacturing experience to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory replenishment using ERP systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Create, enter, and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and contract compliance.
• Partner with vendors to resolve discrepancies in pricing, backorders, or delivery issues.
• Expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve PO/receiving/invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain and update Open Order Reports and purchasing data within the ERP system.
• Support inter-warehouse transfers and assist with physical inventory processes.
• Develop purchasing reports and documentation using ERP, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office.
• Work closely with the VP of Supply Chain & Global Procurement on business process improvements.
• Participate in meetings, contract projects, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience (manufacturing industry strongly preferred).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Experience in supply chain, inventory management, or procurement within a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with contract management and vendor negotiations.
