We are seeking a motivated and experienced designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design team. This position requires a highly motivated and creative individual with a passion for textiles, and soft home products.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct trend research across home décor, lifestyle, and fashion industries to inform seasonal design concepts.
• Perform regular competitive shopping (in-store and online) to identify emerging trends, market gaps, materials, and packaging concepts.
• Translate research insights into compelling, brand-right assortments.
• Leverage AI tools to generate design concepts, mood boards, color palettes, planograms, packaging designs and pattern variations.
• Create original print and pattern designs that align with brand vision and market trends.
• Demonstrate high proficiency in soft home categories such as bedding, window and bath accessories.
• Develop detailed CAD drawings, technical specs, and design presentations for internal reviews and vendor communication.
• Collaborate with the sales & PD team daily as well as other cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive, trend-right seasonal assortments.
• Maintain strong awareness of color, material, and construction innovations in the home décor market.
• Participate in showroom set-up and visual merchandising planning to ensure alignment with seasonal design vision.
• Stay up-to-date on design software, AI tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve processes and output quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Proven experience creating CADs for soft home categories, preferably for home décor products.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills, including print, pattern, and product concepts.
• High proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and AI tools to enhance design workflows.
• Up-to-date knowledge of trends with a keen eye for color, pattern, material, and detail.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
• 8–10 years of experience in home fashion or home décor design preferred.
