The Senior Director & Assistant General Counsel assists the Vice President and General Counsel in all matters assigned and is responsible for providing general legal advice to Association staff at all levels (home office and field) and solutions to eliminate risk for the Association and its related 501(c)4 entity, Alzheimer’s Impact Movement (AIM).
Specifically, this position leads the contract, lease and government grant legal review functions, and interfaces on a regular basis with the senior leaders and their staff across the organization to ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and Association policies and are in the interests of the Association.
This is an ideal position for an attorney who has a strong transaction background and wants to work on a diverse portfolio of subject matters, while have regular, direct interaction with their clients.

Title : Senior Director and Assistant General Counsel
Position Location : Chicago, Illinois is preferred, but the position could be located elsewhere within the continental United States.
Full time or Part time: Full-Time. The position is intended to be hybrid, but other arrangements are possible.
Position Grade, Compensation and Benefits : Grade 512. The Alzheimer's Association’s good faith expectation for the salary range for this role is between $160,000 - $210,000.
This position is eligible for a bonus based on both individual and organizational performance up to 6% of salary.
