We are a busy Mechanical contractor, and we are hiring for Sheet Metal Mechanics.

Pay Rate 28-30 Based on experience

Must have experience with fabrication, installation, modification, and repair of sheet metal components used in commercial HVAC and mechanical systems.
This role requires the ability to read blueprints, work independently or as part of a crew, and maintain high standards of quality and safety on commercial construction jobsites.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications
• Measure, cut, bend, and fit sheet metal using hand tools and power tools
• Install duct supports, hangers, and related hardware
• Seal, insulate, and test duct systems to ensure proper airflow and performance
• Coordinate work with other trades on the jobsite
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial sheet metal or HVAC duct installation experience
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal materials, tools, and installation methods
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must have own basic hand tools
• Reliable transportation to jobsite
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACK GROUND CHECK

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale commercial or industrial projects
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
• Experience operating lifts and scaffolding

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in varying weather and jobsite conditions
