Job Description

Burrito Shak in Jacksonville is a quick service restaurant with beach-vacation vibes that strives to build a positive team of employees that loves to connect with our community and our customers while providing fresh, high-quality food.

We are currently looking for a Shift Leader to join our team. This role will be for primarily evening/night shifts with the ability to fill in day time shifts when needed.

Pay is $16-18/hr (Including Tips) based on previous job experience.

Shift Leader Job Description:

• Learn all positions in the restaurant- line, cashier, and runner and be able to fill each role properly and efficiently
• Follow all Burrito Shak policies and procedures
• Assist with training new staff
• Delegating responsibilities to staff
• Leading your team on shift to efficiently and effectively complete their duties
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with the staff and customers
• Ensuring each shift is prepared for success
• Shifts can consist of opening, mid day, or closing shifts

Job Qualifications

• Able to listen and follow directions
• Leads by example
• Ability to positively and properly communicate with customers and other team members
• Ability to make food items according to Burrito Shak standards
• Leadership, training, and communication skills
• Possess the skills for multi-tasking and active listening
