We are seeking a skilled SMT Machine Operator/Set-Up for our 2nd shift to manage the setup, operation, and adjustment of surface mount pick-and-place machines. This role involves automated placement of surface mount components onto printed circuit boards, with some hand assembly tasks performed under a microscope.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and adjust surface mount pick-and-place machines.
• Perform hand assembly of components under a microscope as needed.
• Follow written instructions, including routers and setup sheets, to ensure accurate machine operation.
• Maintain attention to detail, especially with part numbering schemes that may differ by a single digit.
• Operate machinery and handle some computer setup tasks.
• Function effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Ensure reliability and maintain an excellent attendance record.
• Commit to working the designated second shift.

Requirements:

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to part numbering and assembly accuracy.
• Capability to follow written instructions and setup procedures.
• Comfortable working with machinery and performing some computer setup tasks.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Highly dependable with a solid attendance record.
• Commitment to second shift hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electronic manufacturing.
• Knowledge of component identification.
• Familiarity with soldering techniques.

Additional Information:

• Position involves mostly standing with occasional lifting of up to 10-15 lbs.
