Position: Sr. Analyst – Data Management, Reporting & Analytics

Department: Capital Markets

Supervisor: Chief Operating Officer

Summary:

Seeking an experienced real estate professional with a strong private equity background and significant expertise in data management, data analytics, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in ARGUS and YARDI, and have hands-on experience across industrial, retail, and office property types. This role combines data management, reporting and portfolio management with advanced data-driven decision-making and research to support acquisitions, asset management, and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement data management processes, integrating property, market, and financial data from multiple sources (including YARDI and ARGUS) to ensure data integrity and accessibility for analytics and reporting.
  • Design and implement advanced reporting solutions and dashboards, leveraging business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights for investment and operational decisions.
  • Build and analyze large datasets to identify market trends, risks, and investment opportunities.
  • Build, maintain, and audit detailed financial models using Excel and Argus.
  • Support due diligence efforts, including market research, review of offering memorandums, lease abstraction, and analysis of financial statements and third-party reports
  • Prepare, performance reports, and recommendations to senior management, investment committees, and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with acquisitions, asset management, and property management teams to optimize portfolio performance and support data-driven investment strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and industry best practices in data governance, security, and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Accounting, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in real estate private equity, acquisitions, asset management, financial planning and accounting, or a related analytical role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data management, analytics, and reporting within a real estate context.
  • Advanced proficiency in ARGUS and YARDI for financial modeling, portfolio management, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with industrial, retail, and office property types, including market research and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to diverse audiences.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with CAM reconciliations, budgeting and investor reporting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with creating and managing a data warehouse and working with business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and SQL or other data query languages.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics, risk modeling, and portfolio optimization in real estate.
  • Previous involvement in the integration or migration of real estate data systems.
