\n What You’ll Be Doing:
\nAs a Cabinet Maker Sr., you’ll help keep production running smoothly by:
\nResponsibilities:\n

\n\t
• Fabricates complex, high-quality furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies using stationary and handheld tools.\n\t
• Interprets material specifications and design/engineering drawings to ensure the finished product meets design and engineering requirements with a high level of quality and detail.\n\t
• Coordinates with supervision to ensure compliance with customer-approved design samples.\n\t
• Utilizes a variety of woodworking tools and techniques.\n\t
• Complies with and champions safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies to ensure the protection of aircraft interiors.\n\t
• Works with leads and higher-skilled technicians to develop and implement process improvements that enhance safety, reduce cost, cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement techniques.\n\t
• Utilizes the material tracking system to: Create parts demand, track squawks, sign off completed work.\n

\n Additional Functions: \n\n

\n\t
• Accepts lead responsibilities when required; mentors and trains less-skilled technicians.\n\t
• Oversees projects and coordinates with lead to delegate tasks to assigned technicians.\n\t
• Conducts safety audits and assists team members in performing safety audits.\n\t
• Assists in maintaining shop equipment and associated Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).\n\t
• Coordinates with other backshops when necessary.\n\t
• Adapts to sudden schedule changes.\n\t
• Performs other duties as assigned.\n

\n This Job Might Be a Great Fit If You: \n\n

\n\t
• High School Diploma or GED.\n\t
• Four (4) years of experience in cabinetmaking.\n\t
• Advanced knowledge of cabinetmaking processes and products.\n\t
• Experience in the aerospace industry.\n\t
• Working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications.\n\t
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.\n\t
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.\n
