Temporary Full-Time Nanny – Infant & Toddler | 6-Week Placement

We are seeking a warm, proactive, and experienced nanny to care for two young children—a 3-week-old infant and a 16-month-old toddler—for a temporary six-week assignment. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, reliable, and comfortable supporting both age groups with attentiveness and energy.

Position Details:

• Location: Vienna, VA
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule:  Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM for the first 2 weeks
• Scaled back hours for the remaining 4 weeks (details to be confirmed)
• Duration: 6 weeks
• Compensation: $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, attentive care to an infant and a toddler
• Engage the toddler in age-appropriate activities and routines
• Follow established feeding and sleep routines for both children
• Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, washing bottles, children's laundry)
• Maintain a calm, supportive, and structured environment
• Collaborate with a parent who will be home during the day

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience, including infant and toddler care
• Strong references from previous nanny or early childhood roles
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Reliable transportation to and from the home
• Comfortable working alongside a parent in the home
• Trustworthy, engaging, and responsive to children’s developmental needs
• Provide 3-5 professional references
• Must have U.S. work authorization
