Therapeutic Mentor to join our youth and family programs in the greater Springfield area, helping children build skills and achieve stability in the community.

Pay: $21.50 - $24 per hour What You'll Do As a
Therapeutic Mentor , you'll provide structured one-on-one support to children and adolescents, reinforcing treatment goals and helping them achieve success at home, in school, and in the community.
- Work individually with youth to teach and model social, coping, and problem-solving skills
- Provide coaching and guidance to encourage positive behavior change and personal growth
- Collaborate with clinicians, caregivers, schools, and community partners as part of a team-based care model
- Support youth in developing independent living skills and self-confidence
- Help families navigate behavioral health systems and access resources
- Document services and progress in a clear and timely manner
- Participate in supervision, treatment planning, and ongoing training
Who You Are - High School Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree required
- At least 2 years of experience working with children required; experience with Serious Emotional Disturbance strongly preferred
- Knowledge of behavioral health, coping strategies, and child/adolescent development
- Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Familiarity with community resources and child-serving systems
- Interest in helping others and ability to create strategies that support goal achievement
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable vehicle required
- Comfortable with word processing, email, and documentation systems
