Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessments and implement nursing interventions based on patient needs.


• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.


• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.


• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.


• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 18 months of permanent experience in Emergency Department or relevant travel experience.


• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required at the time of submission.


• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required and must be active at the time of submission.


• TNCC certification preferred.
