Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist experienced in Mammography and CT for variable shifts, requiring ARRT or ARDMS and 2+ years of experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work includes diagnostic imaging with emphasis on Mammography and CT
  • Must be able to perform mammograms, CT scans, and work across modalities as needed
  • Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric adults
  • May need to cover day or night shifts and participate in on-call coverage
  • Variable shift schedule with rotation and on-call responsibilities
  • Responsibilities include diagnostic exams, quality control, equipment care, and record maintenance
  • Must be able to perform mammography procedures such as breast needle localization, specimen radiography, screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic breast biopsy, and maintain annual CEUs and documented mammograms per ACR/FDA
  • Ability to assist in other imaging areas including Ultrasound, MRI, and Interventional procedures as needed
  • On-call staff must be able to report to work within 20 minutes when scheduled
  • Willingness to assume departmental responsibility in the absence of a supervisor
  • Must work effectively with patients and staff of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds
  • No radius restriction for local candidates

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in radiology/mammography
  • Current ARRT in Radiography or ARDMS in one category (Abd or OB/GYN)
  • BLS certification required within 45 days of start
  • Clinical competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years
  • Ability to perform all diagnostic exams related to assigned modalities
  • Must provide 2 fingerprint cards upon acceptance
