Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus We are seeking a skilled Web Application Penetration Tester with 2+ years of experience to join our on-site team in Lehi, UT, or Boise, ID. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, reporting, and mitigating security vulnerabilities in our clients' web applications. You will see a variety of application technology stacks and have lots of opportunities for growth, learning, and career advancement. Responsibilities Conduct thorough security assessments of web applications to identify vulnerabilities. Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments using both automated tools and manual techniques. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts tailored to each application. Provide detailed reports on findings, including risk assessments and remediation recommendations. Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement security best practices and address identified vulnerabilities. Stay current with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technology trends. Conduct security training and awareness sessions for client staff and stakeholders. Qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of experience in web application penetration testing or a related security field. Proficient in using penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nmap, Nessus, and others. Strong understanding of web application security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten) and mitigation techniques. Familiarity with secure coding practices and code review processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, GWAPT, or GPEN are a plus. At this time, we are not considering remote applicants. Applicants must be located in Boise, ID, or Lehi, UT. Starting salary range is $80,000-120,000 base plus bonus and benefits.
